RS: Games for tonight vs. Timbo are postponed. No new date has been set yet.

RS: TIME ADJUSTMENT FOR TOMORROW'S GAME: The games scheduled for Tuesday vs. Timbo will begin at 3:30pm at the RS gym.

RSHS: Echo Mitchell, a senior at Rural Special HS, won 1st place in the pottery competition at the Senior Beta State Convention this past weekend. She earned a trip to the National Convention, which will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, KY this summer. Congratulations, Echo!!!!

RS: There will be no school Monday, January 16, due to the observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

RS: Time adjustment for TONIGHT'S GAME: Jr. Girls will tip off at 5:00pm instead of 5:30pm tonight! We hope to see you at the game- GO REBELS!!!

RS- A HUGE thank you to Shela McAnally from Ozark Mountain’s Day Spa for coming to Rural Special today to treat us all with massages. We are relaxed and ready for Christmas break. What a wonderful treat!

RSES...Parents of 4th/5th/6th Grade Students interested in learning to play the guitar or fiddle through the Music Roots program need to contact Kathy Jensen. Please refer to the information attached.

Rural Special…Congratulations to the County Spelling Bee winners…Erin Akins-1st Place, Khloe Nichols-2nd Place, and Cole Woods-3rd Place!!! Great job!!

RSHS- TONIGHT- The Sr boys game is cancelled for tonight. Games will begin at 5:00pm.

RSHS- Our home ballgame for Thursday night against Ozark Mountain School District has been cancelled. No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.

RSES…Dinner & A Show!! RSES cheering on our very own Maddie Sutterfield all the way out in Vegas…turn and burn Maddie!! So proud of you!!

RSES- Kindergarten had a very special visitor this morning!

Thank you to Mrs Kim Laube, from HUGS, Inc for coming to speak to our high schoolers about leadership skills and making good choices.

RS- It was our honor to host the Senior Citizens banquet again this year for our community. It was a wonderful time for fellowship, food, and fun!

Due to the winter weather, the Mountain View School District will not be in session tomorrow Tuesday, November 15. Again, no school tomorrow in the Mountain View School District, it will be AMI day 1. Thank you.

RS- We enjoyed the opportunity to honor all those who have served today. We had a wonderful program and we appreciate all of our veterans more than words can say. Happy Veterans Day!

RSHS…The Rural Special Senior Class of 2023 would like to thank everyone for their support with the chili supper tonight!!

RSHS- There has been a change in tonight's ball schedule. Our JUNIOR GIRLS will be playing instead of Junior Boys. So, we'll have the Junior Girls game, and then the 2 senior high teams will play Shirley. Chili supper begins at 4:30pm and games begin at 5:00pm. GO REBELS!!!

RS: Please join us for our Veterans Day Program at Rural Special School on Friday, November 11 at 1:00pm. Our students look forward to honoring those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
