RSHS- To close out Red Ribbon Week, we conducted a mock traffic accident. Students were able to experience real response times, the multitude of people who are involved, how a field sobriety test is conducted, how a survival flight lands and how on site personnel have to make quick decisions. These responders all worked as if this were a real scene by cutting students out of the vehicle, addressing injuries, and even loading one on the survival flight. We have a multitude of people to thank for making this happen: Students: Kasen Stevens, Jacob Morris, Kenli Clark, Elisha Rushing, Jasmine Henrickson, Aubrey Linville, Rieley Sutterfield, Bellah Kirby Nurses: Rosha ONeal and Callie Taylor Chief Deputy Dammon McGilton SRO- Greg Vanattar Officers- Eric Vanevra, Trevor Leonard Vita Link Stone Bank(cooked hot dogs) Fox Fire Dept and First Responders Prim Fire Dept and First Responders Survival Flight OEM coordinator Glen Chrymes Trooper Johnathan Arnold Michael Stewart- Dept of Corrections Dusty Stewart- donated snacks Kim Sims and Margaret Morrison from Crowley’s Ridge Dev Council Ashley Sanders- Izard County Sheriff’s Dept Deanna James- Juvenile Probation Timbo High School for joining us Thanks so much!
