Rural Special would like to thank our wonderful community for raising over $14,000 for our PTO Friday night. Our 5th grade class raised the most money in elementary, so Maddison Wilcox and Drachen Richoux were crowned King and Queen for elementary. Our 10th grade class raised the most money for high school, so Danielle Pipkin and Shane McBroom were crowned King and Queen for high school.
It was a wonderful night for our community and school! A huge thank you for everyone who donated and to everyone who came out to support our school.
We are excited for our annual Fall Fest this Friday night beginning at 5:30pm. Booths will be open from 5:30-6:55, with concessions available as well. In addition, there will be a silent auction in the library. Our raffle and Fall Fest Royalty presentation will begin at 7:00pm in the cafeteria. We expect that the cafeteria will be very crowded, and we apologize for this inconvenience; however, our gym is undergoing a remodel, so we are using the cafeteria this year. Please be patient with us this year, and we will be back in our gym next year, with much more comfortable seating. We hope to see a big crowd to support our PTO's fundraiser~ money used from this fundraiser goes directly to our teachers and students to enhance their education. Thank you!
Congratulations to our Cross Country Teams! Both our senior girls and senior boys won at the Chase the Tiger Cross Country Meet at Pangburn yesterday. Top 10 finishers included Jacob Morris, Cole Linville, Daimeon Cooper, Rieley Sutterfield, and Rayleigh Turner. Way to go, Rebs!
