Are you ready for some fishing fun? 7th and 8th Grade will participate in the FINS (Fishing In the Natural State) Program at Yellowjacket Pond in Mountain View. 7th Grade will go tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1. 8th Grade will go on Thursday, May 2. Each group will leave at 8:30 from Timbo and will return to school before the end of the school day. Parents are welcome to join their student at the pond. It's going to be a great day!

Timbo School: Timbo FBLA competed at the Arkansas State FBLA Conference in Little Rock on April 29th and 30th. Our chapter brought home the title for the second largest membership-marketshare award for the state. Amy Morrison took second place in Economics and earned the opportunity to compete at nationals this summer in Orlando, FL! We are so excited and proud of our club's achievements this year!

Timbo-Kindergarten Registration Kindergarten registration will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, from 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-3:00. Students must turn five years old on or before August 1, 2024 to enter kindergarten. Kindergarten students are required to have a physical examination and be up to date on immunizations. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate, social security card, and current immunizations to registration. Timbo: Junior High Track and Senior High Track Results are posted below. The Senior High Track team will compete at Quitman on April 29th for the State Track Meet. Congratulations to both track teams on their successes. As well as Riley Callahan who received the High Point Award! Congrats Tigers!

Timbo FFA: Come out tonight to support the Timbo FFA at Pizza Inn from 5pm to 9pm. They are raising money to help send the land team to the national judging contest in Oklahoma City, OK. We would appreciate your support!

Timbo FBLA: Timbo FBLA got the great honor of being able to present our presentation reports for our state conference to the Mountain View School Board last night. Students shared about the different community service projects we have completed, the awards they have won during this school year, and the increase in membership this year. Timbo - Congratulations to all the outstanding athletes who represented Jr. High at the Jr. Goblin Rosson Invitational in Harrison, Arkansas! 🎉 A big shoutout to Cole Avey for his impressive 6th place finish in the 300m Hurdles and to Jake Currie for securing 8th place in the 1600m run. The Tiger relay teams showed incredible teamwork, with notable finishes of 8th in the 4x100m and 6th in the 4x800m. Well done to Cole Avey, Carson Schrock, Lane Wesley, Trestyn Smith, Gabriel Treadway, Michael De La Paz, Lane Wesley, and Jame Currie for their fantastic efforts! Let's also recognize the remarkable achievements of our female athletes. Kiley Domingue's 8th place finish in the 800m and Presley Currie's 6th place in the 1600m run are truly commendable. Timbo FFA Land Judging Team placed 7th in the State at the Arkansas FFA State CDE contest held on April 5th at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. The Team members include from left to right Gracie Reny, Alexander Honeycutt, Landon Lewis, Mason Gatewood, and Braxton Hawkins. The team will be competing at the National Land Judging Contest in El Reno, OK on May 2nd, 2024. Beyond proud of you all!!!!!

Timbo Parents: Yearbooks are on sale for $35 through April 12, 2024. That is also the LAST day to personalize yearbooks. As of April 13, there will be no personalization, but you can still order yearbooks for $40. Thank you for supporting Timbo and the yearbook.

Timbo - The Timbo Jr. Boys Track Team secured a commendable 6th place in the overall standings at the Jr. Bomber Relays in Mtn. Home on Monday, April 1st. Jake Currie demonstrated remarkable prowess, clinching the first position in the 800m run with an impressive time of 2:22.59, and achieving 5th place in the 1600m run with a time of 5:45.03. Additionally, the Timbo Boys - Gabe Treadway, Michael De La Paz, Conner Goodman, and Jake Currie - showcased their synergy in the 4x800 relay, clocking in at 11:55.44 and securing a respectable 3rd place. Meanwhile, the Timbo Girls 4x800 relay team, comprising Presley Currie, Abbie Treadway, Bailey Wollan, and Kiley Domingue, achieved a commendable 4th place finish, recording a time of 12:54.73 at the event.

Dear Music Roots Students and Families, We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Music Roots Recital, a celebration of our students' dedication and passion for music. Please ensure that students arrive promptly and are at the theater no later than 6:00 PM to prepare for the performance, which will commence at 7:00 PM. After the recital, students are kindly asked to turn in their instruments before departing. We encourage all music roots families to attend and share in the joy of music with us.
