Timbo FBLA: Timbo FBLA got the great honor of being able to present our presentation reports for our state conference to the Mountain View School Board last night. Students shared about the different community service projects we have completed, the awards they have won during this school year, and the increase in membership this year. Timbo - Congratulations on your fantastic performance at the Sr. Goblin Rosson Invitational in Harrison! Your hard work and dedication have paid off, and we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge your achievements: Riley Callahan: Impressive top 10 finishes in the 1600m, 3200m races, Long Jump, and Triple Jump. Kaleb Patrick: Well done on finishing 4th in High Jump and 7th in Pole Vault. Braden Avey: Great job securing 6th place in Discus and 8th in Shot Put. Mallory Mosley: Congratulations on your 9th place in the 300m Hurdles and 7th in Pole Vault. Each of you has represented Timbo High School admirably, and your performances are a testament to your talent and hard work. Keep up the excellent work, and we look forward to seeing more successes from our team in the future!

Timbo - Congratulations to all the outstanding athletes who represented Jr. High at the Jr. Goblin Rosson Invitational in Harrison, Arkansas! 🎉 A big shoutout to Cole Avey for his impressive 6th place finish in the 300m Hurdles and to Jake Currie for securing 8th place in the 1600m run. The Tiger relay teams showed incredible teamwork, with notable finishes of 8th in the 4x100m and 6th in the 4x800m. Well done to Cole Avey, Carson Schrock, Lane Wesley, Trestyn Smith, Gabriel Treadway, Michael De La Paz, Lane Wesley, and Jame Currie for their fantastic efforts! Let's also recognize the remarkable achievements of our female athletes. Kiley Domingue's 8th place finish in the 800m and Presley Currie's 6th place in the 1600m run are truly commendable. A special round of applause to Presley Currie, Abby Treadway, Bailey Wollan, and Kiley Domingue for their outstanding teamwork, securing 4th place in the 4x800m relay. Timbo FFA Land Judging Team placed 7th in the State at the Arkansas FFA State CDE contest held on April 5th at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. The Team members include from left to right Gracie Reny, Alexander Honeycutt, Landon Lewis, Mason Gatewood, and Braxton Hawkins. The team will be competing at the National Land Judging Contest in El Reno, OK on May 2nd, 2024. Beyond proud of you all!!!!!

Timbo Parents: Yearbooks are on sale for $35 through April 12, 2024. That is also the LAST day to personalize yearbooks. As of April 13, there will be no personalization, but you can still order yearbooks for $40. Thank you for supporting Timbo and the yearbook.

Timbo - The Timbo Jr. Boys Track Team secured a commendable 6th place in the overall standings at the Jr. Bomber Relays in Mtn. Home on Monday, April 1st. Jake Currie demonstrated remarkable prowess, clinching the first position in the 800m run with an impressive time of 2:22.59, and achieving 5th place in the 1600m run with a time of 5:45.03. Additionally, the Timbo Boys - Gabe Treadway, Michael De La Paz, Conner Goodman, and Jake Currie - showcased their synergy in the 4x800 relay, clocking in at 11:55.44 and securing a respectable 3rd place. Meanwhile, the Timbo Girls 4x800 relay team, comprising Presley Currie, Abbie Treadway, Bailey Wollan, and Kiley Domingue, achieved a commendable 4th place finish, recording a time of 12:54.73 at the event.

Dear Music Roots Students and Families, We are thrilled to invite you to our annual Music Roots Recital, a celebration of our students' dedication and passion for music. Northeast Arkansas Regional Science Fair Winners! Sixteen students from Timbo High School competed in the 68th Annual Northeast Arkansas Regional Science Fair at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro on March 8th. Heath Reams had the best overall project for the Junior Division and Grady Pitcock placed 4th overall in the Senior Division. Several Students placed in their categories are listed below. Timbo Parents: Timbo FFA has recently participated in the Eastern District CDE contest! Timbos' Land team placed 4th in the eastern district, The team consists of Landon Lewis, Alexander Honeycutt, Mason Gatewood, Braxton Hawkins and Gracie Reny. Individually Landon Lewis placed 3rd overall. Timbos’ Electricity team also competed and they placed 8th place as a team which consists of Alyssa Shellstrom, Joseph Lewis, Jacob Ashley, and Charlie bryant. They will compete at the Arkansas State FFA CDE contest on April 4th and 5th. Timbos’ Forestry team, which also did great at the Eastern District contest placing as a team with 2nd place! The team consists of Dalton Shellstrom, Logan Treadway and Samuel Holley, individually Logan Treadway was a high individual and won a $500 scholarship to ASU Jonesboro. They will compete in the Arkansas State FFA CDE contest on April 12th. Good Luck at State Timbo FFA!

Timbo Parents, Today we sent home order forms for spring school pictures. Picture day is Monday, March 25. Please look for the order form and mark the date on your calendar. It is the first day we return from spring break. We also sent home another order form for yearbooks; it is the final form at the cheaper price. Dear Parents: Thursday, March 14th, 2024 Hours: 8:30 am —2:00 pm Kindergarten: Any child age 5 on or before August 1st, 2024 will be eligible for Kindergarten registration. (See Ms. Ridling in High School). Preschool: Openings will be filled based on qualifying factors. Please bring required documents to the registration: Proof of income, Social Security card, Birth Certificate, and current shot records. Location will be in the Preschool Building Hallway (look for sign).
