Students made pine cone bird feeders after reading Night Tree and learning how to help feed animals during the winter.





Students enjoyed longevity noodles and making dragon puppets during 2nd grade's study of Holidays Around the World at MVES.

MVES fourth grade students constructed a model of a human hand and observed how pulling on a string (a model for tendons) caused the finger to bend at the joints.

MVS Spelling Bee Grades 3rd-8th



Catalog Fundraiser Delivery Update - Due to unforeseen circumstances, our fundraiser delivery has been delayed. As soon as we have a definite delivery date, we will notify parents. Thank you for your support of MVES!!

Second grade students use finger lights to follow along in a nonfiction book, “Bird Feet.”


MVES - Fourth grade students working with Tyler Caston from the Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service to build and program robots to perform certain tasks. Students learn teamwork, problem solving, critical thinking, engineering, and design through this 4-H program.
