MVES - Students explored how solid rock breaks apart into smaller pieces through weathering. In the activity, they used sugar cubes as a model for rocks. They performed an experiment with this model to understand the process of weathering and how this process explains why rocks at the tops of mountains are jagged, while those at the bottom are rounded.

MVES - WOO HOO!!! We completed 3rd and 4th grade ACT Aspire testing today and again, we had 100% of our 3rd and 4th graders at school!! THANK YOU to all of our parents, guardians, & caregivers for making that happen. THANK YOU to our 3rd and 4th graders for showing up and working so hard this week. We couldn't ask for a better group of students. You guys ROCK!! THANK YOU to our teachers who had 100% attendance for all three days of testing!! Your dedication to our students is second to none!! This has been the BEST attendance and we couldn't be prouder of our students. We had 100% of our students for 2 days of testing and 99% on the other day (which is 99.7%)!! Absolutely amazing!! While our students and teachers rocked the test, our parents/guardians/caregivers rocked the support!! #togetherweswarm
