In lieu of a semester’s worth of data and the inability to fairly proctor tests for all distance students, we will be requiring all distance students who failed or are currently failing a class in which they are currently enrolled to take tests on site for the second semester. So, starting February 10, any test that is given will be provided to those distance students either on the day it is given to the other students or on the next blended Friday as long as prior arrangements are made with the teacher. Students will also be expected to take their tests during the period that they would be on campus unless prior arrangements are made with the teacher who is giving the test. Some teachers may also require students who are failing to take quizzes following the above guidelines. All tests/quizzes should be taken using one of the school issued Chromebooks. If that is a problem, please let me know. Based on numbers of students who are attending our blended Fridays, we know that we can distance the students both on busses if they choose to ride the bus and in the classrooms.
